Post 360 of The American Legion/Department of Indiana invites you to a General Membership Meeting on Sunday, March 4. This meeting will begin at 1 p.m. in Campus Center CE409 at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).
University Veterans Post 360 is the first campus-based Legion post in the country. Initiated by members of Veterans@IUPUI, the student veteran organization on the college campus, Post 360 was chartered on November 15, 2011. Sixteen charter members and nine new members were inducted at the inaugural meeting on January 15, 2012, where the post’s first board of officers was elected. Enthusiasm for and within Post 360 is building, as Gulf War Era and Post-9/11 combat vets — most of them affiliated with higher education in some way — collaborate to define and reinforce the next generation of veterans among the nearly 3-million-member-strong American Legion.
Please join us — membership is open to all Indiana veterans! Feel free to contact Post 360 if you have any questions or would like more information.
